| Well, T.M.E.A. is over now. It was absolutely amazing. Stovall and
Scott made me cry with their speeches before the performance. We sang
all the songs beautifully, and all the technical flaws we once had
seemed to melt away as we sang. We got a standing ovation for Tres Cantos. Stovall made me cry once more during Banks of Doon. After Old Dan Tucker,
the audience shot up out of their chairs and cheered. It was really
exciting for us. I cried some more. I was just an emotional wreck!
Afterward, a man came up to me, wiped a tear from my cheek, and said,
"Your tears are a good thing." He was right. Chorale worked harder than
ever for months and months on our songs. We gained patience and
maturity and modesty. We grew as singers and as performers. We also
developed an amazing bond through our hard work. I will never ever
forget that day as long as I live.
